Biblical Studies 463B: New Testament Theology

A theologically organized study of the New Testament which concentrates on the historical movement and development of key concepts and unifying themes from Old Testament times through the first century A.D.  Emphasis is upon the presentation of these ideas as the New Testament writers recorded them.  Prerequisite: RRED 273.  Three hours, Spring, Odd years

A= New Testament Theology, A Short Life of Christ, The Apostolic Preaching of the Cross & 94% attendance

B=New Testament Theology, A Short Life of Christ & 84% attendance

C=New Testament Theology & 71% attendance

D=New Testament Theology & 61% attendance

F=do nothing

[each book will be accompanied by a statement that is has been fully read & an acceptable ten page review]

Attendance

Each class day the student can earn three and one-half points for timely class participation.  Points will be deducted either for late arrival or early departure or poor participation.  A maximum of one hundred points can be earned this way.  If this grade fails to exceed sixty points, that student will fail regardless of other grades.  In case of excusable absence, the student may perform a written make-up assignment averaging one point per one hundred words.
